These were the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Youngstown-Warren metro area for the week ending October 11, 2026, and together they came to $3.8 million. Four of the homes are in Mahoning County and one is in Trumbull County. The group runs from a lakefront property to two one-story ranches and a pair of two-story colonials, and the homes span more than three decades of building, from a 1991 ranch to a home finished in 2025.
No. 1 — $1,545,000 · 1408 NE River Rd, Lake Milton, Ohio

The shoreline is the point of 1408 NE River Road. The home sits on the water at Lake Milton, on a lot of 0.66 acres, and it looks west across a lake that measures more than a mile from one shore to the other. A private dock with a boat lift sits at the water’s edge, so fishing, swimming and an afternoon on a boat start from the property itself.
The two-story home, built in 1997, has four bedrooms, two of them on the main level, and four bathrooms: three full baths and a half bath. It has a fireplace, and the full basement is finished and opens to the outside through a walk-out. There is garage space for five vehicles divided between an attached garage and a detached one. Lake Milton is a state park, and the home is close to its beach, trails and amphitheater, as well as golf and wineries.
The home sold for $1,545,000, the highest price of the week. The property last sold in 2023 for $1.105 million.
Justin R Vayner of Vayner Realty Co. was the listing agent, and Jill E Herock of Burgan Real Estate represented the buyer.

No. 2 — $639,900 · 4025 Shelly Lynn Dr, New Middletown, Ohio

Built in 2025, the home at 4025 Shelly Lynn Drive in New Middletown is the newest of the week’s five, and it sold for $639,900, its full asking price. It stands in the Carousel Corners development and mixes colonial and Craftsman design: a large dormer breaks the roofline on the second story, and black soffits and gutters set off neutral siding and stone accents. An oversized covered porch runs across the front.
Inside, the foyer rises two stories before opening to a great room with large windows and a gas fireplace. The kitchen is open, with an eating area that leads out to a cement patio in back, and a dining room that can also serve as a flex space sits nearby along with a pantry, a half bath and the laundry. The primary suite is on the first floor, with a tray ceiling, a double vanity, a large tiled shower and a walk-in closet fitted with built-in shelving. Upstairs, two more bedrooms share a full bath and have access to an unfinished bonus room over the garage.
In all, the home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,250 square feet on a lot of 0.32 acres, with a two-car garage. The full basement has poured concrete walls, studded perimeter walls and plumbing roughed in for a future full bath.

At 1.78 acres, the setting of 180 Huntington Trail in Cortland’s Huntington Acres is the largest of the week’s five, and the home is a cedar ranch built in 1991, the oldest in the group. The one-story home has 5,005 square feet, four bedrooms, all on the main level, and five bathrooms, the most of any home in this Top 5: three full baths and two half baths.
