These were the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Pittsburgh metro area for the week ending October 11, 2026, and together they came to $5.795 million. Four of the homes are in Allegheny County and one is in Washington County, and the group spans well over a century of building, from a Victorian finished in 1885 to a condominium completed this year.
Four are single-family homes and one is a condominium. Two are Colonials, one is a French Provincial in stone, and the newest is a contemporary design in Pittsburgh’s Aura District. HOWARD HANNA REAL ESTATE SERVICES was the listing brokerage on two of the five sales.
No. 1 — $1,300,000 · 143 Devonwood Dr, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The week’s top sale is a brick Colonial on one acre in the Westminster area of Upper St. Clair. Built in 1970 and since renovated throughout, the two-story home sold for $1,300,000.
Much of the first floor is given over to an open, connected layout around an updated kitchen fitted with two dishwashers. The home also has a fifth bedroom with its own full bath and private access, next to a finished laundry, a setup suited to a guest suite or a home office. Four more bedrooms are upstairs, among them a primary suite with its own bath. In all the home has five bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath across 3,460 square feet, with hardwood floors and two fireplaces, one gas and one wood-burning.
The finished lower level adds a sauna, a gym and a craft area along with space for gathering. Outside, the private backyard is built for entertaining around the pool. The outdoor kitchen goes well beyond a grill: there is a built-in wok with its own ventilation system and a pizza oven, plus warming drawers, an ice maker and a beverage center. Ten infrared heaters extend the season, and a separate pool cabana has a wood-burning fireplace of its own. The property last sold for $565,000 in 2019.
Melissa Palmer of HOWARD HANNA REAL ESTATE SERVICES was the listing agent, and Dina Castillo, also of HOWARD HANNA REAL ESTATE SERVICES, represented the buyer. It was one of two listings in this Top 5 for the brokerage, which also listed the No. 3 sale in Venetia.

No. 3 — $1,120,000 · 112 Hardwood Dr, Venetia, Pennsylvania

Faced in Indiana limestone, the French Provincial home at 112 Hardwood Drive in the Sienna Woods community of Venetia sits on a corner lot of 0.55 acres, approached by a governor’s driveway. Completed in 2022, the two-story home sold for $1,120,000, the only sale in this Top 5 from Washington County.
The kitchen is built around a six-burner Thermador gas range and a large island, with two full pantries, and opens to the living and dining areas. A private office is set off on its own. No. 4 — $1,100,000 · 1001 Glenshaw Ave, Glenshaw, Pennsylvania

The oldest home in the group is a three-story Victorian at 1001 Glenshaw Avenue in Historic Glenshaw, built in 1885 and set on 1.16 acres. It sold for $1,100,000.
Much of the original craftsmanship survives. Stained-glass windows and the home’s natural woodwork are original, and hardwood floors and hand-cut wallpaper add to the period character, while a wrap-around porch greets visitors outside. Between 1999 and 2010 the home was restored down to the studs. It was insulated throughout, its electrical and plumbing systems were replaced, and storm windows went in over all of the original windows.
A butler’s pantry sits off the kitchen, which pairs custom inset wood cabinetry and granite counters with two ovens. The main floor also has a library, a laundry, a mudroom off the attached garage, and a living room and dining room that each have a fireplace. On the second floor, a great room has a gas fireplace, handmade shelving and a balcony looking out over the grounds, and the third-floor rooms give space for guests, work or hobbies. The home has four bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath in 4,390 square feet, with five fireplaces in all.
Outside, a detached two-story garage is built in the carriage-house style. Garden paths wind through the wooded back of the lot, with views over Pine Creek. The property last sold for $132,500 in 1999.
Mary Jane DiMartino of KELLER WILLIAMS STEEL CITY was the listing agent, and Kevin Obendorfer of RE/MAX SELECT REALTY represented the buyer.

Light-colored brick and charcoal fiber cement siding make up the exterior. On the main level, large Andersen windows and a picture window over the kitchen sink brighten an open living, dining and kitchen area, and a glass door leads out to a rear balcony. The kitchen has a charcoal island, quartz countertops, KitchenAid appliances and a pantry with custom shelving.
The primary suite has two walk-in closets and a bath with a dual-sink vanity and a frameless glass shower.
