Newly built homes, contemporary estates and a single Scottsdale sale made up a week in which single-story homes on large lots set the tone.

Phoenix, Arizona Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Paradise Valley Claims Four of the Five, Led by a $14 Million New Estate

Paradise Valley accounted for four of the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Phoenix metro area for the week ending October 11, 2026, and Scottsdale had the fifth. Together the five sales came to $45.095 million.

The group leaned new. Two of the homes were new construction, and the oldest was built in 2007. Four of the five are single-story homes, and every one of them sits on more than three-quarters of an acre.

No. 1 — $14,000,000 · 6001 N 37th Place, Paradise Valley, Arizona

Top home sale No. 1 in the Phoenix metro area β€” 6001 N 37th Place, Paradise Valley, Arizona, week ending October 11, 2026

The top sale of the week was a newly finished home in Paradise Valley’s Stanford Court neighborhood that its makers named Maison de Vie. It sold for $14,000,000. The property last sold for $2 million in 2023, before the current home was built.

The design mixes transitional European lines with art deco touches. Living Stone Builders, led by Nate Gossage, built the home to plans by architect Jim Blochberger, with interiors by Abby Kremer of George Oliver Design and Kristin Lane of Cedarhurst Home. Outside, white brick is textured and trimmed in natural limestone under a cedar shake roof with copper caps on the chimneys. A gated stone path brings visitors to a black-lacquered front door, and the foyer beyond is worked in detailed millwork and stone.

Completed in 2025, the single-story home has six bedrooms, six full baths and a half bath across 7,304 square feet, on a 1.07-acre corner lot. In the great room, a limestone fireplace faces a wall of glass sliders that pocket out of sight. The kitchen has two marble-topped islands, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances and a plaster hood, with pass-through windows that slide open to the outdoors, and a separate service kitchen sits behind it. In the formal dining room, a coffered ceiling continues down the walls, and there is a wine wall for 144 bottles along with another limestone fireplace. The primary suite has its own fireplace, beamed ceiling details, French doors to a patio and a coffee station, and its marble-walled bath opens to a courtyard garden. Three more bedrooms, each with its own bath, share a guest wing with a media room.

Covered patios lead out to a timber-beamed ramada with a limestone fireplace. Lit steps climb to an upper terrace with a negative-edge pool and spa, a cascading water feature and views of the mountains. A path continues past the pool to a detached guest house with its own living area, kitchen and bedroom, and the grounds also include a sport court for pickleball. The five-car garage is the largest in this week’s group.

Brian C North of Compass and Adam Bowman of Compass were the listing agents.
