The list runs from a custom bayou home with its own boat slip to three Gulf-front residences along Perdido Beach Boulevard, two of which had the same agent on both sides of the sale, and ends with a Gulf-front duplex from 1983.

The week’s top sale is a custom home on Bayou St. John in Orange Beach, inside the gated Caswell at Bayou St. John community. Its views take in Perdido Pass and Ono Island, and a marina is in view as well.

Ceilings reach 12 feet in the main living spaces, where walls of sliding glass doors open toward the water. The open plan is organized around a kitchen island made from a single slab, eight feet on each side, and the finishes lean toward natural wood and soft neutrals. The fireplace is in the family room. Upstairs, a second wet bar is joined by a coffee bar and a beverage station for guests.
Covered porches of about 1,100 square feet in all face the water. Outside there is also a fire pit near the water, an outdoor kitchen and a built-in gas grill. The home comes with a deeded boat slip with a lift and a separate lift for a jet ski, and the community has a gated entrance, tree-lined drives, a waterfront pool and a marina.
