The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Fayetteville, North Carolina metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, added up to $2.67 million. Four of the homes are in Fayetteville and one is in Eastover, all of them in Cumberland County.

Every one is a two-story single-family home, but the group spans half a century. Two were completed this year, while the oldest dates to 1976. Neighborhoods on the list include Westhaven, Lexington Woods and Kings Grant.

No. 1 — $689,000 · 1943 Thomas Wood Dr Lot 98, Fayetteville, North Carolina

Built to a floor plan called the Stanton, it has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,517 square feet, with HardiPlank-type siding and stone veneer on the outside and an attached three-car garage. The lot measures between a quarter and a half acre.

Inside, an entrance foyer opens to a formal dining room. The kitchen has granite counters, a large pantry and seating at a bar, and a breakfast nook sits alongside it. A great room is built around a fireplace. The primary suite is on the main floor, with a walk-in closet and a bath that has a garden tub, a separate shower and a double vanity. A guest bedroom is also downstairs, and the upper floor has three more bedrooms, a loft and a large family room.

A guest bedroom and a full bath are on the main level, and a large covered porch extends from the back.
