
These are the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Lansing, Michigan metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, and together they came to $3.343 million. Okemos had two of them, which together sold for $1,445,000, and the others were in Haslett, Charlotte and Eaton Rapids.
The group mixes suburban subdivisions with open country. Three of the homes sit on lots of well under an acre, while the Charlotte and Eaton Rapids sales came with acreage, woods, pole barns and room to roam. Every home in the group has at least four bedrooms, and in two of the five sales the same agent was on both sides.
No. 1 — $830,000 · 325 Wind N Wood Dr, Okemos, Michigan

The week’s top sale is a brick, stone and rough-sawn home on 1.47 acres in the Wind n Wood subdivision of Okemos. Outside, the grounds include a fenced in-ground pool with a diving board and a waterfall, an above-ground spa and a fire pit, and the home looks out on a pond.
Built in 1970, the two-story home has 9,148 square feet of living space, the most of the five, along with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, six full and one half. A circular drive leads to the front entrance and a large foyer. The kitchen has a Sub-Zero refrigerator, two sinks and two stoves, a coffee bar and an eating area, and it opens to a great room and dining space with floor-to-ceiling windows and a stone fireplace. On the main floor, a paneled library has custom woodwork and built-ins. The home has two wood-burning fireplaces and hardwood floors.

A covered front porch opens to an open floor plan with high ceilings and crown molding. The great room is built around a brick gas fireplace. The kitchen, with an island and a breakfast bar, has an eating area and leads into a four-seasons room that opens onto the deck. Two bedrooms, an office and a formal dining room are on the main level. The finished walkout lower level adds two more bedrooms, a full bath, a bar, desk areas and a second gas fireplace. The property last sold for $635,000 in 2023.

A brick traditional home in the Hidden Valley neighborhood of Okemos sold for $615,000, the same price as the week’s fourth sale. Built in 1986, it was custom built for its original owner, and its plan puts two full bedroom suites on the main floor. The larger is the primary suite, where the bathroom has a large jetted tub and a heated floor.
The two-story home has 3,461 square feet, four bedrooms and three full baths on a 0.36-acre lot. It has wood and carpeted floors, a fireplace in the family room, a covered porch, a patio and a two-car attached garage. The basement is unfinished and already plumbed for a future bathroom. The community has maintained grounds and a seasonal pond.

No. 4 — $615,000 · 1686 S Stewart Rd, Charlotte, Michigan

The Charlotte sale brought the most land of the week: 27.49 wooded acres, made up of two separate parcels, with the home set nearly 700 feet back from the road. It sold for $615,000, matching the price of the Hidden Valley home.
The contemporary home was built in 1970 and has two stories, 2,300 square feet, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two full and one half. Inside are beamed ceilings, natural woodwork and hardwood floors. The kitchen has a large island, quartz counters and a wet bar, and a hearth room beside it is centered on a brick fireplace. Big windows look into the woods, and a screened porch gives a place to watch for deer. The land includes a pole barn, a chicken coop, fruit trees and a fire pit. The property last sold for $33,000 in 2006.

No. 5 — $568,000 · 1912 Meadow Hills Dr, Eaton Rapids, Michigan

The Eaton Rapids home sold above its asking price, closing at $568,000 after it was listed at $550,000. Built in 2012, it is the newest home in this week’s group. It sits on 8.89 acres on a cul-de-sac, with a pond, a meadow, woods and an above-ground pool.
The ranch has 2,818 square feet, four bedrooms and three full baths, with the primary bedroom on the main floor. Vaulted and cathedral ceilings open up the main living space, and a finished walkout lower level adds more room. The current owners put in new flooring through most of the home, along with fresh paint and custom trim in parts of it. A newer pole barn has 220-volt electric service, plumbing for a future bathroom and a ceiling high enough for a vehicle lift. The property last sold for $175,000 in 2013.
