Lansing, Michigan Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Haslett Closings Anchor the Week, Topped by a $1.42 Million Lakefront Home

Three levels of rooms face Lake Lansing at 6123 Cottage Dr in Haslett, where a double lot, a concrete seawall and a dock with a boat hoist came with the house. Its September 23, 2026 transaction was one of five home sales reported across the Lansing metro area between September 21 and September 27, 2026, a group that combined for $4.26 million.

Haslett is the week’s recurring municipality, with Dewitt and Okemos also represented on the list. The communities named in the records include Sunset Cove, College Fields Condo and Copper Creek, and the five houses span build years from 1998 to 2026, the newest of them finished this year.

A brick house standing three levels above Lake Lansing at 6123 Cottage Dr, in the Sunset Cove neighborhood of Haslett, carried the week’s highest reported price in the Lansing metro area at $1,423,500. The transaction is dated September 23, 2026. Built in 1998, the home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a reported 6,751 square feet on a double lot at the water’s edge.

The first floor is given over to family rooms that open toward the lake, with vaulted ceilings, crown molding, hardwood flooring and an open kitchen fitted with granite counters, stainless appliances, an informal eating area and laundry just off it.
