These are the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Dayton, Ohio, metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, and together they came to $5.27 million. All five are single-family homes, and they range from a 1993 home on a cul-de-sac in Spring Valley to a one-story home in Troy completed in 2019.
Dayton and Spring Valley each had two of the sales, and Troy had one, spread across Montgomery, Greene and Miami counties. Four of the five are two-story homes, and several sit on land measured in acres rather than fractions of one, including a Spring Valley property of more than five acres.
No. 1 — $1,850,000 · 1234 Walton Ct, Troy, Ohio

The week’s top sale is a one-story brick and stone home in Troy, set on a wooded 1.33-acre lot. Built in 2019, it is the newest of the five, and it has five bedrooms, six bathrooms (three full and three half) and 6,675 square feet. The property last sold for $119,900 in 2018, before the current home was built.
A stamped walkway and a rock and water feature lead to the front door. Inside, ceilings rise to 11 feet, 13 feet and cathedral height, and the large windows have automatic blinds. The kitchen centers on an island and has built-in Thermador appliances, a large farm sink as well as a prep sink, a walk-in pantry and a coffee bar with its own built-in machine. It is open to a great room with a gas fireplace framed by a reclaimed-wood mantel and shelving.
The bedrooms follow a split plan. The primary suite has a custom closet and a bath with a soaking tub, a walk-in shower and a bidet, and the secondary bedrooms have Jack and Jill baths and walk-in closets. Even the laundry and mud room has a pet washing station.
The walkout lower level is given over to entertaining, with a custom bar, recreation, lounge and theater areas and a built-in fish tank.
