
The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Minneapolis, Minnesota metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $37.9 million. Four were in Hennepin County, in Excelsior, Wayzata and Minneapolis, and the fifth was in Sunfish Lake in Dakota County.
Wayzata accounted for two of the sales, which together came to $10,350,000. The list was made up of four single-family homes and one condominium.
No. 1 — $18,250,000 · 20670 Linwood Rd, Excelsior, Minnesota

The week’s top sale was a lakefront estate in the Glueks Point area of Excelsior, which sold for $18,250,000. Designed by the architect Charles Stinson and built in 2015, the one-story home sits on 2.39 wooded acres with more than 350 feet of Lake Minnetonka shoreline and panoramic views of the lake. The property last sold for $3.45 million in 2013, before the current house was built.
The main living space is open, and a long run of sliding glass doors connects it to a porch fitted with Phantom screens, a dining area with a fireplace and an infinity pool. The kitchen has a dining area of its own, wine storage behind glass and a separate support kitchen for entertaining. The primary suite is on the main level, and its bath has floor-to-ceiling windows that look out to the lake. Two offices are also on that floor.
Four junior suites share the walkout lower level with a bunk room that has a lounge and a wet bar.
