New construction on the water and in South Tampa shares the list with a Brooksville farm estate on nearly 30 acres and a boater's home in Belleair Beach.

Tampa, Florida Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: New Waterfront Home in Saint Petersburg Leads at $5.5 Million

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Tampa, Florida metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $18.1 million. Two of the homes are in Tampa, and the others are in Saint Petersburg, Brooksville and Belleair Beach.

Three of the five are newly built, and two of those have rooftop living space looking toward downtown Tampa. The other two are older homes with very different kinds of land: one is a working rural estate in Hernando County, the other sits on a saltwater canal with room for a yacht.

No. 1 — $5,500,000 · 337 Coffee Pot Drive NE, Saint Petersburg, Florida

A new waterfront home in Saint Petersburg’s North East Park neighborhood was the week’s top sale, closing at $5,500,000. Hughes Construction built the contemporary home in 2025 of block and stucco, on two stories, and it has views of the bayou and of downtown Saint Petersburg.

Inside, it has five bedrooms, five full and one half baths and 6,239 square feet of living space, the most of any home in this week’s group. Ceilings run high on both floors, and the primary suite and the bonus room have vaulted ceilings. The kitchen has Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances and a large walk-in pantry, and it is open to the family room, where there is an electric fireplace. An elevator connects the floors. The primary suite is upstairs, with a wet bar, a private deck and views of the water and the downtown skyline.

At the back are a deck and a lanai overlooking a heated saltwater pool with a raised spa, along with an outdoor kitchen and an outdoor shower. A new dock and boat lift are across the street, and Coffee Pot Park and a boat ramp are within steps of the home. A whole-home generator and an oversized two-car garage reached from the alley complete the picture.

It lies along the Culbreath Road corridor in Hernando County.
