Four of the week's five top sales were in Mahoning County, with prices running from $425,000 to $875,000.

Youngstown-Warren, Ohio Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Poland Leads at $875,000 as Canfield Takes Three

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Youngstown-Warren metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $3.05 million. Canfield accounted for three of them, including homes in Kings Lake Estates and Highland Meadows, while the others were in Poland and in West Farmington, the only Trumbull County sale in the group.

All five were single-family homes. Two large brick homes from the early 1990s sit at the top of the list, and the middle of it leans toward land, with a West Farmington property and a Canfield home each set on more than four acres.

No. 1 — $875,000 · 1337 Meadowood Cir, Poland, Ohio

A circular driveway leads up to this two-story brick home in Poland, which sold for $875,000, the highest price of the week. Built in 1994, it sits on 0.79 acres among mature trees, with a four-car attached garage that opens to the side. The property last sold in 1995, for $52,500.

The home has 6,047 square feet, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two full and two half. Its entry is a two-story foyer with a staircase and a chandelier, and a second staircase at the back of the home also reaches the upper floor. The great room rises two stories as well, and its gas fireplace is set into detailed woodwork. In the kitchen there is custom cabinetry with Corian counters, an island and a walk-in pantry, plus a large dining area that looks out over the grounds. A separate formal dining room has a tray ceiling.

The primary suite is on the first floor. Its bathroom measures 16 by 19 feet and has a soaking tub, and the suite also has a walk-in dressing room. A first-floor office is lined with built-in shelves and cabinetry, and the home also has a billiard and game room. Upstairs, a loft looks down into the main floor, three more bedrooms each have a large walk-in closet, and an exercise room measures 24 by 20 feet. Below, a full basement walks out to the rear yard, and a private patio sits at the back of the home.

Water is the view at 185 Queens Lane, a home in the Kings Lake Estates neighborhood of Canfield that looks out on a stocked lake. It sold for $845,553. Brick on all four sides, the home was built in 1993 on 0.70 acres and has 5,700 square feet. Its five bedrooms and six bathrooms, five full and one half, are the most of either among this week’s five sales.

A foyer with a curving staircase opens to a great room with tall windows and a fireplace. Off the entry, a first-floor office has a coffered ceiling and French doors, and there is also a formal dining room. The kitchen has white cabinetry, new appliances and an island, with windows facing the lake. Next to it, the family room has floor-to-ceiling windows, another fireplace and a back staircase. The primary suite is also on the first floor, with an updated bath that has a soaking tub and gray porcelain tile. On the upper floor, each of three bedrooms has its own bath.

The walk-out lower level is trimmed in maple and has a second full kitchen with a bar, a billiard room, a sauna, a full bath and the fifth bedroom. A covered patio on that level and a large deck above it both look toward the lake. The three-car garage is heated and cooled. The home is a few minutes from Route 11 and the Canfield Fair, and the property last sold in 2021 for $472,500.

At 6.89 acres, the property at 3620 Geauga Portage Easterly Road in West Farmington is the largest in this week’s group, and much of its interest lies outside the home. It sold for $474,000.

A barn on the land has a wraparound overhang, an overhead door and a loft. The shop building measures 42 by 80 feet, with a 12-by-24-foot wing, two overhead doors and ceilings of 16 feet 4 inches, and it is plumbed for in-floor heat. The home and the shop each have their own gas meter. At the time of the listing, the home was off the grid on solar panels, with natural gas service, and it is wired so it can be connected to electric service.

Built in 2001, the vinyl-sided home is the newest of the five. It has an open floor plan with three bedrooms, two of them on the main floor, and one bathroom. The kitchen and dining room share one open space finished with ash cabinetry, and the living room has ash hardwood floors, plenty of natural light and a wood stove. There is a full basement with the laundry, a two-car garage and a front porch with new composite flooring.

The wood-sided home has 3,438 square feet, with four bedrooms, two of them on the main level, and three bathrooms. Two wood-burning fireplaces warm the interior, and the basement is finished. Outside there is a rear porch, a side porch and a deck, along with a two-car garage.

The two-story home, built in 1978 on half an acre, sold for $425,000.

Inside, the 3,002-square-foot home has hardwood floors, granite counters and a fireplace in the main living area. It has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, two full and one half, with the half bath on the first floor. The primary suite’s bath has been updated with a walk-in shower. A finished basement adds more living space and has the laundry, and the two-car garage is attached. The property last sold in 2012 for $180,000.
