The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Winston-Salem metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, added up to $7.56 million. Three of the homes are in Winston Salem, two of them in the Buena Vista neighborhood, and the others are in Clemmons and Lewisville, all in Forsyth County.
The group runs from a 1938 home, the oldest of the five, to a new home finished in 2025. Leonard Ryden Burr Real Estate listed three of the five homes, and Mitchell Prime Properties listed the other two.
No. 1 — $2,075,000 · 2810 Club Park Rd, Winston Salem, North Carolina

The most expensive sale of the week was a 1938 home in Buena Vista that overlooks Forsyth Country Club. It sold for $2,075,000. The Winston-Salem architects Northup & O’Brien designed it, and the exterior is a study in period detail: a green Ludowici-Celadon tile roof, stone chimneys, dormers and Tuscan columns.
At 5,670 square feet, it is the largest of the five homes. It has four bedrooms and five bathrooms, four of them full and one a half bath, on a 0.63-acre lot. The kitchen has been updated, and there is a butler’s pantry. The home has four fireplaces, with ones in the dining room, the living room and the primary bedroom. The primary and guest baths have been renovated. A sunroom has floor-to-ceiling windows, and there is a screened porch and a broad patio at the rear. A circular driveway leads to two garages, one attached and one detached, with room for four cars between them. The property last sold for $1.075 million in 2014.
The home went under contract six days after it was listed. Josh Loew of Leonard Ryden Burr Real Estate was the listing agent, and Daniel Hill of Daniel Hill represented the buyer.

No. 2 — $2,000,000 · 1201 Brook Acres Trl, Clemmons, North Carolina

Brook Acres Farm in Clemmons supplied the week’s second-highest sale, a custom-built brick home on 6.31 acres, the largest lot among the five. It sold for $2,000,000. The land allows horses, and the property includes a barn, a gazebo, gardens and a private in-ground pool.
Built in 2007, the home has four bedrooms, six bathrooms (four full and two half baths) and 4,696 square feet, plus a three-car garage and a finished basement. Its most unusual room is a log cabin den, built into the home, that opens to a covered porch looking out over the land. There is a chef’s kitchen with an island, a home office, a mudroom with storage and laundry on both levels. Of the three fireplaces, one is in the keeping room, one in the living room and one outdoors.
The home went under contract the same day it was listed and sold at its full asking price of $2 million. John-Mark Mitchell of Mitchell Prime Properties was on both sides of the sale. Mitchell was also the listing agent for the fifth-ranked sale this week.

No. 3 — $1,315,000 · 930 Wellington Rd, Winston Salem, North Carolina

The third sale was also in Buena Vista: a 1966 ranch-style home of brick and wood siding at 930 Wellington Road, on a wooded 0.53-acre lot with mature landscaping. It sold for $1,315,000.
The home has five bedrooms, more than any other in this week’s group, along with four bathrooms and 4,952 square feet. The formal rooms have nine-foot ceilings, and the great room looks out to a stone terrace and the in-ground pool. Three of the bedrooms are on the main level, among them the primary bedroom, which has several closets and its own door to the pool. The two remaining bedrooms are upstairs, along with a large floored attic that is unfinished. A back staircase from the kitchen leads to a game room with a mid-century modern feel, and the unfinished basement offers room for storage or a workshop. The property last sold for $589,528 in 2017.
The home went under contract 11 days after it was listed and sold for $20,000 above its asking price of $1.295 million. Zach Matthews of Leonard Ryden Burr Real Estate was the listing agent. Nancy Huber of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Carolinas Realty represented the buyer.
