Built by Cecchi Homes in 2020, the six-bedroom house on Chestnut Lane NW closed at its full asking price, heading a week of Washington, D.C. luxury home sales in which the five highest-priced reported closings combined for $24.95 million.

The five sales span Phillips Park, Kent, Country Club Hills, Potomac Outside and Spring Valley, reaching from Northwest Washington into Arlington, Virginia, and Rockville, Maryland. The list runs from a 1940 Georgian Revival house in Kent to homes completed in 2025 in Arlington and Rockville. Agents from TTR Sotheby’s International Realty held the listing side of the sales ranked No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4.

No. 1 — $6,250,000 · 4432 Chestnut Ln NW, Washington, D.C.

The $6.25 million sale of 4432 Chestnut Ln NW ranked No. 1 in RealtyWire’s weekly Washington, D.C. Metro Area Top 5, placing Daryl Judy of Washington Fine Properties on the listing side of the highest-priced home sale reported in the metro that week. The September 11, 2026, transaction closed at its full asking price. The Phillips Park property previously changed hands for $5,175,000 in 2020, and the house has six bedrooms and a reported 8,595 square feet.
