The 2003 house on Foxxglen Run sits on a quiet cul-de-sac, with a backyard that extends to Drum Point Creek, which feeds into the Elizabeth River. It topped a week in which the five highest-priced reported home sales across the Virginia Beach metro area combined for $3.71 million.

This week’s Virginia Beach real estate roundup crosses the state line. Three closings came from Corolla on North Carolina’s Outer Banks, and the Virginia side of the list is represented by Chesapeake and Williamsburg. The five sales span Western Branch North, Villages at Ocean Hill, Greensprings Plantation, Corolla Light and Ocean Sands, in homes built between 1993 and 2013.

No. 1 — $830,000 · 4219 Foxxglen Run, Chesapeake, Virginia

No reported sale in the metro area topped 4219 Foxxglen Run in Chesapeake’s Western Branch North, which closed on September 9, 2026, for $830,000. The four-bedroom brick house was built in 2003 and carries reported square footage of 4,120. It previously changed hands for $625,000 in 2004.

Listing materials describe the residence as a model home built by a Homearama builder and kept by its original owners. Real hardwood covers the floors of the study, living room and dining room. One large room is finished with a beamed coffered ceiling, several others have tiered tray ceilings, and custom plaster ceilings are worked in swirl and overlapping-arc patterns.
