The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Southwest Twin Cities Area, Minnesota for the week ending November 1, 2026 added up to $7.953 million. All five were single-family homes, spread across Waconia, Chaska, Prior Lake, Victoria and Eden Prairie, with three of them in Carver County.
The group ran from a 1968 rambler on the shore of Prior Lake to a 2014 custom build on more than three acres, and three of the five are one-story homes. Edina Realty, Inc. had a listing agent on four of the five sales.
No. 1 — $1,805,000 · 10345 Cannon Woods Trl, Waconia, Minnesota

The most expensive sale of the week was a custom rambler built in 2014 by Sondergaard Forcier, set on 3.09 heavily wooded acres at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac outside Waconia. It sold for $1,805,000. The property last sold for $215,000 in 2014.
Inside, the one-story home is finished with knotty alder cabinetry and hand-scraped hardwood floors with a walnut stain, and the ceiling beams were made from a barn that stood for a century. A stone fireplace rises from floor to ceiling in the main living area, and large windows look out on the trees. The granite kitchen is open to the living spaces. The owner’s suite is on the main level, as is an office closed off by a sliding barn door, and a mudroom has built-in cubbies. The home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and 4,592 square feet, and the full finished basement walks out to the yard.
The land is a large part of the story. Behind the home are a firepit and a backyard ringed by woods, and a detached 60-by-32-foot outbuilding is heated and has water; it is set up now as an indoor sport court. There is no homeowners association, and downtown Waconia and Lake Waconia are minutes away.
The home went under contract 14 days after it was listed. Catherine A Seck of Edina Realty, Inc. and Keric K Seck were the listing agents, and Eric D Stafford of Coldwell Banker Realty represented the buyer.
