The week’s top sale was a 2.25-acre estate on Picacho Lane that sold for $18,000,000. A long drive through landscaped grounds leads to the home, which was built in 1947 in a Mediterranean and Spanish style and later extensively remodeled by Giffin & Crane.

The primary suite has a fireplace and an adjoining den.

Outside, the grounds have a pool with a waterfall, a spa and a pool house. There is a north-south tennis court and a putting green, as well as a dance studio and gym. Rolling lawns, mature gardens and fruit trees fill out the land, which also has a private well and a generator. Views take in the mountains, the ocean and the islands, some of them partial or filtered.

The home went under contract seven days after it was listed. Riskin Partners Estate Group of Village Properties was the listing agent and also represented the buyer, so the same agent was on both sides of the sale.
