Three of the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Raleigh metro area for the week ending October 11, 2026, were in Raleigh itself, and the other two were in Wake Forest and Cary. All five are single-family homes with at least four bedrooms, and two of them are newly built. Together the five sales came to $13.51 million.
No. 1 — $3,450,000 · 2108 Ridge Rd, Raleigh, North Carolina

The week’s top sale was a Glenwood home inside the Beltline, built in 2025 by Raleigh Custom Homes, which sold for $3,450,000. A farmhouse-style front porch leads into the foyer, and much of daily life happens on the first floor, where an open plan joins the family room, a formal dining room and a chef’s kitchen with a scullery behind it.
The owner’s suite is also on the main level, under a vaulted ceiling, with a bath that has a soaking tub and a walk-in shower with two entries. A guest suite shares that floor. Upstairs, three more bedrooms each have a private bath and a walk-in closet, and there is a game room with a wet bar plus a loft with storage. Over its two stories the home has five bedrooms, five full baths and a half bath across 5,604 square feet, with hardwood, tile and carpet floors, built-in bookcases and a Control4 system that runs the lighting, audio, video, climate and security.
Out back, a covered porch fitted with Phantom screens and Infratech heaters has a fireplace and a grilling station, and it looks out over a heated pool and spa. The property last sold for $675,000 in 2024, before the current home was built.
Tim Thompson of Raleigh Custom Realty, LLC was the listing agent.

No. 2 — $3,050,000 · 323 Yadkin Dr, Raleigh, North Carolina

At 7,668 square feet, the Country Club Hills home on Yadkin Drive is the largest of the five. The brick Transitional home was built in 2007 on just under half an acre with hardwood trees, and a finished daylight basement accounts for a good share of its space, with entries from inside and out.
Marble countertops and stainless appliances fill the kitchen, which opens to the main living area. The primary suite looks over the backyard and has a spa-style bath and his-and-hers walk-in closets; it is the only one of the five bedrooms on the main level. Coffered ceilings, crown molding and a wet bar run through the rooms, and the home has five full baths, a half bath, a room over the garage and a two-car garage.
The outdoor rooms come in pairs. A covered living area off the main floor has a fireplace and a gas line for grilling above a turf backyard, and the lower level opens to a second outdoor space with a fireplace of its own. The property last sold for $1.55 million in 2015.
Theo Highsmith of Dogwood Properties was the listing agent, and the home went under contract 17 days after it came on the market.

No. 3 — $2,700,000 · 1500 Scales St, Raleigh, North Carolina

The newest home in this group, built in 2026, is a Colonial Revival-inspired design meant to fit the architectural heritage of Hayes Barton. It stands on a 10,454-square-foot corner lot at Scales Street and W Roanoke Park Drive, and its plan is arranged around a private garden courtyard with views toward downtown Raleigh. Brick and HardiPlank-style siding cover the outside, with beamed ceilings, natural woodwork and hardwood floors inside.
Large windows bring light into the open main level, where the kitchen and scullery open to the family room and a homework center sits just off the living area. A study and a guest suite are also on the first floor. The primary suite is upstairs, with a spa-style bath and two closets, and two more bedrooms on that floor each have a private bath. A recreation room adds flexible space, and an unfinished walk-in attic provides storage. At 4,386 square feet, it is the smallest of the five, with five bedrooms, four full baths, a half bath and a three-car garage.
The home is in Five Points, where parks, a movie theater, shops, breweries and restaurants are within walking distance, and NC State University, Glenwood South and downtown Raleigh are easy to reach. The property last sold for $545,000 in 2024, before the current home was built.
The home sold at its full asking price of $2.7 million. Brian Cosgriff of Hodge & Kittrell Sotheby’s Int was the listing agent, and Kendall Bailey of Compass — Raleigh represented the buyer.

No. 4 — $2,160,000 · 7932 Wexford Waters Ln, Wake Forest, North Carolina

In Wexford Reserve in Wake Forest, a new Transitional home built in 2025 and shown in the Parade of Homes was planned for more than one generation. It has four bedrooms, two of them on the main level, and eight baths, six full and two half, the most of any home in the group. The kitchen is built around a large wrap-around island, with a quartz backsplash, cabinets that reach the ceiling, a 42-inch Sub-Zero refrigerator and a scullery with a prep sink and a window. The dining area has a vaulted ceiling with accent beams, as does the primary suite, which also has oversized windows, a soaking tub, a dual-entry shower and a large closet with a center island that opens directly to the laundry room.
A family room with built-ins and a tiled gas fireplace slides open to a vaulted screened porch with a brick fireplace and skylights. The partially finished walk-out basement adds a bar and kitchen area, a family room, a game room and a home gym with a full bath, and a slider leads from it to a covered patio above a wooded lot. On the second floor are two bedrooms with their own baths, a bonus room and an exercise room. The property last sold for $500,000 in 2022, before the current home was built.
The home went under contract 24 days after it was listed and sold just above its $2.15 million asking price. Jim Allen of Coldwell Banker HPW was the listing agent, and Tiffany Williamson of Navigate Realty represented the buyer.
