Prescott Area, Arizona Top 5 Home Sales: Forest Trails Home Leads at $2.0 Million

The five highest-priced home sales reported in Prescott Area, Arizona for the week ending October 25, 2026, came to a combined $6.96 million, and every one of them sold for more than $1 million. All five homes are in the city of Prescott, spread across Forest Trails, Prescott Lakes, Idylwild and Granite Dells Estates, which accounts for two of the five. The group runs from a contemporary built in 1984 to a pair of new-construction homes completed in 2026, and views of Granite Mountain, Thumb Butte and the surrounding peaks turn up across the list.

No. 1 — $1,965,000 · 1400 Trailhead, Prescott, Arizona

Top home sale No. 1 in Prescott Area, Arizona β€” 1400 Trailhead, Prescott, Arizona, week ending October 25, 2026

A trailhead a few hundred yards from this Forest Trails property leads to miles of hiking trails, and the contemporary home looks out over forest and mountains: Thumb Butte, Granite Mountain, the San Francisco Peaks, Mingus Mountain and, at night, the lights of Prescott. It sold for $1,965,000, the top price of the week. Built in 2001, the two-story home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and 4,598 square feet, the most living area among the five, on 0.96 acres.

Visitors arrive over flagstone pavers to a 10-foot iron double door with sidelights, set among Japanese maples, native plantings and a bronze elk sculpture. In the formal living and dining rooms, ceilings reach as high as 20 feet beneath heavy wood beams, and oversized Hurd windows take in the views. The floors are porcelain tile with radiant heat. The kitchen is built around an oversized granite island with an apron-front sink, and it is equipped with a six-burner Wolf range, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer and a full-size wine refrigerator. Thumb Butte sits squarely in view from the breakfast nook.

The floor plan gives each use its own room. There is a library with a fireplace and a wet bar, a den with a stone-accented fireplace and a built-in media center, an executive office, and a bright studio for art or hobbies. The primary suite is on the main level, and its travertine bath has a soaking tub framed by the view. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, each with its own bath. Outside, the home has four patios and a wraparound walkway; the rear patio sits under a pergola and has a built-in barbecue. The 4.5-car garage has radiant heat and epoxy floors, and one bay runs about 29 feet with nine-foot clearance, enough room for a two-car lift. The property last sold for $1.875 million in 2022.

Geoffrey Hyland of eXp Realty was the listing agent, and Robert Beyea of Realty ONE Group Mountain Desert represented the buyer. Hyland also listed the fifth-ranked sale, a new home in Granite Dells Estates, which gave eXp Realty two of the week’s top five listings.

Built in 2023, the single-story home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, three full and one half, on 0.33 acres. Its 2,676 square feet include a detached casita of 429 square feet with its own custom entry door, a separate place for guests to stay.

No. 4 — $1,200,000 · 2010 Ponderosa Ln, Prescott, Arizona

Top home sale No. 4 in Prescott Area, Arizona β€” 2010 Ponderosa Ln, Prescott, Arizona, week ending October 25, 2026

Garage space sets this Idylwild property apart. Along with a 2.5-car attached garage, there is a separate four-car garage and shop with a grease pit, an air compressor and a stand-up attic, for six spaces in all, the most of the five homes. RV parking with hookups and a large shed add to it. The home sold for $1,200,000 and went under contract 29 days after it was listed.

Built in 1984, it is the oldest home on the list, and it has since been completely remodeled. The three-story contemporary has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 3,701 square feet on 1.04 acres, the largest lot of the five, about 1.5 miles from downtown with no homeowners association. Its great room rises to a 22-foot ceiling with a celestial window, a carved marble fireplace mantel, French-pane windows and heavy moldings. The Alderwood kitchen has cabinetry made by hand by a third-generation Italian cabinetmaker, now paired with quartz counters. The home has two Arizona Rooms: one with a wall of French windows, and a second downstairs, with a fireplace and views, that is used as an office.

A new Trex deck wraps around most of the home, with a covered section and a built-in fireplace and barbecue, and the views reach Thumb Butte and the sunsets over Granite Mountain. The gardens include a rose garden with a fountain, a small pond, a gazebo and an arbor, with natural boulders across the property. The property last sold for $805,000 in 2017.

Ryan Mancuso of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Bloomtree Realty was on both sides of the sale, as the listing agent and as the agent who represented the buyer.

The single-story home combines contemporary and ranch styles, with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,402 square feet on 0.40 acres. Its front is faced with stacked stone and board-and-batten siding, and paver walkways lead up to a covered entry trimmed in stone.

Vaulted ceilings rise over the great room, where a fireplace with a modern tile surround is the focal point and four panels of glass open onto the outdoor living area in back. The kitchen centers on a 10-foot island with granite counters, and a butler’s pantry adds its own sink, a built-in oven and microwave, and a refrigerator. A formal dining area sits just off the kitchen. The primary suite has its own access to the rear patio, and its bath has double vanities and a walk-in shower tiled from floor to ceiling. Each of the other two bedrooms has a walk-in closet, and the two share a Jack and Jill bath.

The backyard opens onto open space with no close neighbors, and the home has covered patio areas. Residents of Granite Dells Estates have a pool, a clubhouse, a fitness center and tennis courts. The property last sold for $189,000 in 2024, before the current home was built.
