The five highest-priced home sales reported in Ventura County for the week ending October 18, 2026, totaled $18.98 million. Each came from a different city: Ojai, Somis, Camarillo, Oxnard and Westlake Village, the one sale of the five in Los Angeles County.
The group runs from a home built in 1928 to one built in 2006, and from a harbor-side lot of a few thousand square feet to a property of more than 46 acres. All five are single-family homes.
No. 1 — $4,600,000 · 520 Foothill Rd, Ojai, California

Few homes in Ojai arrive with a history like the Estelle Clark Estate on Foothill Road. The Tudor Revival home, built in 1928 and designated a historic landmark, was commissioned by the silent film star Estelle Clark and designed by the architect Austin Pierpont. Clark and her husband, the composer Leo Robin, lived there during the 1930s, and the listing says Robin wrote “Thanks for the Memory,” later Bob Hope’s signature song, while living at the estate. It sold for $4,600,000, the oldest home among the week’s five.
The home has been restored with its original Tudor Revival design kept intact. In the living room, a barrel ceiling rises above walls finished in Venetian plaster. The floors are the original parquet of oak and mahogany, and leaded and stained-glass windows bring light into the rooms. There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms in 3,474 square feet.
The property covers 1.18 acres and looks out on Chief Peak and the Topa Topa Mountains. Beyond the main home stand a barn and a detached yoga studio. The grounds include an interior courtyard, terraces and gardens, along with a pool and spa. A glass greenhouse sits under a pergola. Downtown Ojai and the Ojai Valley Inn are a few minutes away. The property last sold for $1.465 million in 2014.
Gabriela Cesena of Berkshire HathawayHomeServices was the listing agent, and Lisa Hofer of Compass represented the buyer in the top sale of the week.

It stands behind its own private gate at the end of a long driveway, with views of the ocean, the mountains and the valley below. It sold for $4,000,000.
Built in 2006, it is the newest of the week’s five homes. It has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, seven full and one half, in 6,446 square feet. A two-story entry opens onto a curved wrought-iron staircase, and the main home includes a theater, an office and a kitchen with a center island. The primary suite has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, a fireplace and two balconies. Its bathroom has a jetted tub, a steam shower and a fireplace of its own.
A detached guest house of 1,000 square feet has a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a fireplace. There are also ranchers’ quarters with a kitchen and bathroom, a barn with electricity, and garage space for 26 cars, with an office on the second floor of one of the garages. The yard has a pool and spa with water features set among mature landscaping, and a newly graded pad of about half an acre adds room to build. The property last sold for $2.1 million in 2012.
