No. 2 — $980,000 · 1030 Matthew Way, New Castle, Delaware

Top home sale No. 2 in Newark-New Castle-Middletown Area, Delaware β€” 1030 Matthew Way, New Castle, Delaware, week ending November 1, 2026

At 6,600 square feet, the Toll Brothers home at 1030 Matthew Way in New Castle is the largest of the five, and its five bathrooms are also the most in the group. The two-story Colonial, a Langley II model built in 2019, sold for $980,000. It sits on 0.36 acres in the High Pointe At St Ge community, where residents share a clubhouse, a pool, a fitness center, a jogging path and a playground.

A two-story foyer leads into a main level finished largely in engineered hardwood, with shadow box millwork in the formal living and dining rooms and crown molding throughout. The two-story family room, which has a stone fireplace with a mantel, is lit by a tall Palladian window. The kitchen has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, a tile backsplash and two pantries, and a second staircase rises from it to the upper floor. The most unusual room is a solarium with windows on three sides and a vaulted ceiling, set beside the garage and a short walk from the main-level deck; the current owners use it as a game room. A bedroom and bath on the main level round out the floor.

The home has five bedrooms in all. Upstairs, the primary suite has a sitting room, a dressing area and three closets, and its bath has radiant heated floors and a whirlpool soaking tub. Another upstairs bedroom has its own bath and walk-in closet. The walk-out lower level adds about 2,000 finished square feet with a library and study, a bathroom and a workshop, all with full-size windows; that level was partly finished when the home was built and completed in 2023. Outside are a 15-by-21-foot rear deck, a second deck, a patio and an irrigation system, and the side-entry three-car garage has an electric vehicle charger.
