Water runs through every one of the five highest-priced home sales reported in Lower Eastern Shore-Ocean City, Maryland for the week ending November 1, 2026. Three of the homes are in Ocean City and two are in Ocean Pines, all of them in Worcester County, and together the five sales come to $5.522 million.
The group is a cross-section of how people live at this stretch of the coast: two townhomes, two single-family homes and one condominium, ranging from a 1975 high-rise unit to a townhome built in 2004.
No. 1 — $1,550,000 · 4001 Atlantic Ave, Ocean City, Maryland

The top sale of the week is a townhome that sits directly on the beach. The home at 4001 Atlantic Avenue sold for $1,550,000. It is part of Ocean Club, a small oceanfront community at 40th Street that is built as multilevel townhomes rather than as a high-rise tower, and this is its south-end unit, which gives it extra windows and more daylight than its neighbors.
The home has been completely renovated. Its main living level is open, with a dining area running into a redesigned kitchen finished in white cabinetry, quartz-style counters and stainless appliances, with a gas range under a large hood, a beverage refrigerator and a big island with seating. A broad private deck looks over the dunes to the Atlantic, the primary bedroom faces the ocean, and there is an outdoor shower for coming in off the sand. The restaurants and shops of Midtown Ocean City are close by.
Built in 1977, the four-story home has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and 1,968 square feet of living space, with parking under the home. The property last sold for $275,000 in 1995.
R. Erik Windrow of Keller Williams Realty was the listing agent, and Ryan Haley of Atlantic Shores Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer in the highest-priced sale of the week.

No. 2 — $1,182,000 · 14 Goldeneye Ct, Ocean Pines, Maryland

For a boater, the appeal of 14 Goldeneye Court in Ocean Pines starts at the water’s edge. The contemporary home in the Wood Duck Isle I section is on a cul-de-sac, and its 0.28-acre waterfront lot is bulkheaded for 73 feet. A private boat lift is in place, and boats can reach the bay directly from the property. It sold for $1,182,000, the second-highest price of the week.
The home has several decks and balconies, and a sun deck on the second level takes in wide views over the water. Inside, cathedral ceilings rise over an open floor plan, and a bright sunroom gives another place to sit with the water in view year-round. The kitchen has custom cabinetry and quartz counters, the bathrooms have been updated, and a home office offers room for work or an overflow guest. One bedroom is on the main level.
Built in 1987, the two-story home has four bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath, and 2,693 square feet. Its oversized, detached two-car garage has a storage area on its upper level. Residents of Ocean Pines have a long list of community amenities, from golf and pools to marinas, tennis and a beach club in Ocean City.
The home went under contract 16 days after it was listed. Nicholas Preziosi of Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. was the listing agent, and Julie Woulfe of ERA Martin Associates, Shamrock Division represented the buyer.

On Sunset Island, a gated community on the bay side of Ocean City, the townhome at 22 Beach Side Drive sold for $970,000. Built in 2004, it is the newest of the five homes, and it was offered furnished.
The kitchen is the center of the home, with Thermador stainless appliances, heated tile floors, a farmhouse-style sink, a built-in icemaker, a second beverage refrigerator and a generous island. An electric fireplace warms the living room, and a furnished balcony off that room looks out to the bay. The primary suite has a walk-in closet and a bath with a soaking tub and a stall shower.
The four-story home has four bedrooms, three full baths and two half baths, and 2,216 square feet, with an attached two-car garage at the rear.
