No. 1 — $1,975,000 · 131 Freeman Pkwy, Providence, Rhode Island

Top home sale No. 1 in Greater Providence & Northern Rhode Island β€” 131 Freeman Pkwy, Providence, Rhode Island, week ending October 25, 2026

The week’s top sale was a brick Colonial built in 1920 in Providence’s Blackstone neighborhood, which sold for $1,975,000. The listing places the home in the Freeman Plat, on a 10,018-square-foot lot in a walkable part of the East Side with sidewalks along the street.

A foyer sets the plan. On the other side of the foyer is the dining room. The kitchen has white cabinets, a center island, a built-in desk and an eating area. Hardwood floors, tall windows and high ceilings carry through the main rooms.

Upstairs, the landing has built-in shelves and room for a study. The primary suite has a fireplace of its own, generous closet space and a renovated bath with two vanities and a large walk-in shower. Two more bedrooms share this floor with a redone family bath that includes laundry. The third floor adds two further bedrooms, a full bath and a cedar closet. Outside are a stone patio, a landscaped yard and a detached two-car garage. The full basement, unfinished, includes a workshop and storage.
