Flint Area, Michigan Top 5 Home Sales: Grand Blanc Estate Leads a Week of Lake Homes and Open Acreage at $1.5 Million

The five highest-priced home sales reported in Flint Area, Michigan for the week ending October 25, 2026, added up to $4.406 million. Each one was in a different community, from Grand Blanc and Davison to Fenton, Linden and Goodrich, and all five were single-family homes in Genesee County.

The group ranges from a 1997 contemporary with nearly 10,000 square feet to a 1973 ranch whose land matters more than its floor plan. In between are a brick-and-cedar home in a Davison subdivision and two homes where the lake is the point: one with frontage on Lake Fenton, the other on a canal in Linden. In two of the five sales, the same agent represented both sides.

No. 1 — $1,525,000 · 8290 Burleigh Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan

Top home sale No. 1 in Flint Area, Michigan β€” 8290 Burleigh Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan, week ending October 25, 2026

The top sale of the week was a contemporary home on 11.38 acres of woods in Grand Blanc, reached by a private paved road that ends at the property. It sold for $1,525,000. The land backs onto the fairways of Atlas Valley Golf Club and has a pond of its own, and the address falls within the Goodrich School District.

Built in 1997 and since reworked inside, the three-story home has 9,970 square feet, five bedrooms and five bathrooms, the largest living area and the most bedrooms of the five sales. High ceilings and tall windows open the main rooms to the woods, and the layout is open. The kitchen has two islands topped in quartz, with a concealed door leading to a butler’s pantry.

Much of the home is given over to recreation. There is an indoor pool with a hot tub and a sauna, and the primary suite rises two stories and opens straight into the pool room. A double-sided gas fireplace warms the suite, which also has a large amount of closet space and a newly renovated bathroom. The full basement is finished and walks out to the grounds, and it includes a home theater. Outside are a deck with wire railings, a porch and a breezeway.

The attached garage holds five cars and was built for someone who works on them: it is oversized, with extra height, a vehicle lift, a workshop and a charging station for an electric vehicle. The property last sold for $1.05 million in 2024.

Katherine Eich of Motivated Real Estate was the listing agent, and Preston Konieczka of Red Fox Realty LLC represented the buyer.

The great room is the center of the main floor, lit by tall windows and built around a stone fireplace that runs from floor to ceiling. The kitchen has granite counters, a large center island, a breakfast nook and mahogany floors. Two rooms get unusual ceilings: an octagonal peaked ceiling over the office, which also has a wall of windows, and a round tray ceiling over the formal dining room. The primary suite is on the first floor, with its own fireplace, a door to the patio, a walk-in closet and a bath with a jetted tub, two vanities and a large shower. Three more bedrooms and two full baths are upstairs, and the finished daylight lower level adds a game room, flexible space and a half bath.

The backyard is landscaped and built for summer, with a fenced in-ground pool, a hot tub, a broad patio and a putting green. The attached three-car garage has storage space above it. The property last sold for $285,000 in 2008.

Top home sale No. 5 in Flint Area, Michigan β€” 11480 Hill Rd, Goodrich, Michigan, week ending October 25, 2026

The week’s fifth sale was mostly about land: 38.08 acres of rolling, wooded country on Hill Road in Goodrich, the largest parcel of the five, which sold for $658,000. The home itself is a brick and aluminum-sided ranch built in 1973, the oldest of the group, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one full and one half) and 1,796 square feet. The home went under contract six days after it was listed and sold above its asking price of $649,000. Jonathan Schlinker of REMAX Edge was the listing agent, and Justin Klenow of eXp Realty Best Life and Company represented the buyer.
