Five of the highest-priced publicly reported home sales identified in the Denver, Colorado metro area totaled $25.30 million for the calendar week ending Sunday, August 2, 2026 — an average of $5.06 million per transaction. The Denver–Aurora–Lakewood metro area covers ten counties along the Front Range.
Size and price move in opposite directions on this list. The week’s leader is a 19,553-square-foot estate in Cherry Hills Village — nearly three times the floor area of any other sale in the report — yet it changed hands at roughly $364 per square foot, the lowest figure of the five. The most expensive space, at about $840 a foot, belongs to a house barely a third its size in Denver proper. Two of the five closed inside Denver city limits; the other three are spread across the southern suburbs, in Cherry Hills Village, Castle Rock and the Ravenna golf community south of Littleton.
No. 1 — $7,112,500 · 7 Village Road, Cherry Hills Village, Colorado

The week’s highest-priced transaction in the Denver metro area closed July 29 at a publicly reported $7,112,500: a 2011-built estate on Village Road in Cherry Hills Village, the low-density municipality south of Denver that consistently records among the highest property values in the metro. The six-bedroom house measures approximately 19,553 square feet with eleven bathrooms — by a wide margin the largest home in this week’s report.
Its price per square foot is the story. At roughly $364 a foot it is the least expensive space on this list, despite being the most expensive house. Very large estates tend to price this way: the pool of buyers who want and can carry twenty thousand square feet is small, and floor area past a certain point adds less to a sale price than location or land does. The same week produced a Denver house at more than twice that rate on a third of the footprint.

No. 2 — $6,100,000 · 102 S Cherry Street, Denver, Colorado

The runner-up closed July 29 at a publicly reported $6.1 million on South Cherry Street in Denver, a six-bedroom house of about 7,260 square feet with seven bathrooms. It is the highest-priced sale recorded inside the Denver city limits this week, and the most expensive square footage in the report at approximately $840 per foot.
The contrast with the Cherry Hills Village sale above it is the clearest measure this week offers of what buyers were paying for. The two closed on the same day. One is nearly three times the size of the other and sold for about a million dollars more. Whatever separates them, it is not floor area.

No. 3 — $5,200,000 · 614 Cliffgate Lane, Castle Rock, Colorado

Third place went to Castle Pines Village in Castle Rock, where a five-bedroom house on Cliffgate Lane closed July 30 at a publicly reported $5.2 million. The property runs to roughly 10,330 square feet on about 1.65 acres — the second-largest home and the largest parcel in this week’s report — in a gated golf community in the foothills south of the metro.
Its history gives the week some depth. The same house last traded at $3.65 million in June 2018, so the July closing represents an increase of roughly 42 percent over eight years, or about 4.5 percent a year compounded. That is a documented figure for one property rather than a market rate, but it is the kind of number this report can actually show.
Corene Hellander of Luxe Haven Realty was the listing agent.

No. 4 — $3,540,312 · 141 N Gilpin Street, Denver, Colorado

The second Denver city sale closed July 31 at a publicly reported $3,540,312 on North Gilpin Street, in the Country Club neighborhood east of downtown. The six-bedroom house measures about 5,659 square feet, making it the smallest of the three Denver-area homes above $3.5 million this week.
It took the longest road to closing of any sale in this report. The house came to market in February 2026 asking $4.25 million and closed more than five months later at roughly 17 percent below that figure. Every other property on this list either sold within a few percent of its asking price or was not publicly marketed at a documented price at all.

No. 5 — $3,350,000 · 8111 Galileo Way, Littleton, Colorado

The list closes at Ravenna, the golf community in the hogback foothills south of Littleton, where a five-bedroom house on Galileo Way sold July 28 at a publicly reported $3.35 million. At approximately 5,309 square feet with seven bathrooms, it is the smallest home in this week’s report.
It came to market in April 2026 at $3.5 million and closed about four percent under that asking price roughly fourteen weeks later. Together with Castle Pines Village at No. 3, it puts two of the week’s five highest sales in gated golf communities in the foothills south of the metro — a pattern worth watching across future weeks rather than drawing a conclusion from a single report.
