The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Dayton Metro Area, Ohio for the week ending November 1, 2026, came to a combined $4.76 million. They were spread across five communities and three counties: two in Greene County, two in Miami County and one in Montgomery County.
The group ranges from open country in Spring Valley and West Milton to an established Dayton street, a newly built home in Beavercreek and a Troy ranch. In two of the five sales, the same agent was on both sides of the transaction.
No. 1 — $1,332,042 · 1065 W Spring Valley Paintersville Rd, Spring Valley, Ohio

Mature trees screen this Spring Valley property from the road, and behind them lie 32.21 acres, the most land of any home in this week’s Top 5. The home, built in 1979, has the look and feel of a handcrafted lodge, with warm wood finishes, vaulted ceilings and large windows that bring the surrounding woods and fields indoors.
It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, including a private suite that can serve extended family or long-term guests, and three of the bathrooms have recently been renovated. A wood-burning fireplace warms the home, and the kitchen, with granite counters and an island, is combined with the family room.
The detached garage is the other main attraction. It has space for four or more vehicles, is both heated and air-conditioned, and measures roughly 6,000 square feet, room enough for a collection or a workshop. A shed and fencing are also on the property, which last sold for $325,000 in 2002.
Kiley Critz and Caryn Weckstein of Coldwell Banker Heritage were the listing agents, and Jill Aldineh of RE/MAX Victory + Affiliates represented the buyer. The sale was one of two Coldwell Banker Heritage listings in this Top 5, with the brokerage also listing the No. 2 home.

The four full bathrooms are on the second floor, each renovated with Rookwood tile, heated tile floors, glass shower doors and handcrafted vanities, and two of the original sinks were kept in place.
