
The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Cleveland, Ohio metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $7.27 million. Four of the homes are in Cuyahoga County, in Moreland Hills, Cleveland, Rocky River and Shaker Heights, and the fifth is in Medina, in Medina County.
The group spans nearly a century of building, from a Colonial finished in 1938 to a stone-clad home completed in 2018, and it includes one townhouse on the Lake Erie shore. Howard Hanna agents listed four of the five homes, and in two of the sales the same agent was on both sides.
No. 1 — $1,850,000 · 25 River Mountain Dr, Moreland Hills, Ohio

The top sale of the week was a stucco contemporary at 25 River Mountain Drive in the River Mountain Estates neighborhood of Moreland Hills, which sold for $1,850,000. Built in 1997, the home sits on 4.58 wooded acres, the largest lot in this Top 5, steps from the Chagrin River.
Architecture is the point of this home. A custom double front door leads into a foyer with hardwood floors, and the living room and family room both rise two stories, with tall expanses of glass looking out to the woods, fireplaces and walls finished in wood. The kitchen has granite counters, tile floors, an island and an eat-in nook.

Barbara Wilson of Howard Hanna was the listing agent and also represented the buyer, so the same agent was on both sides of the sale.
