A private dock, a separate guest house and furnishings by designer Scott Snyder came with the week’s biggest closing: the 2019-built waterfront residence at 608 Island Dr on Palm Beach’s Everglades Island, which sold September 1. The five highest-priced home sales reported across the Miami, Florida metro area for the week ending September 6, 2026, combined for $97.01 million.

The five closings span Palm Beach, Miami Beach, Bal Harbour and Boca Raton, with Miami Beach appearing twice: a 2015 house in the North Shore area and a condominium on Collins Avenue, both of them Douglas Elliman listings.

No. 1 — $40,000,000 · 608 Island Dr, Palm Beach, Florida

On Everglades Island, the five-bedroom waterfront residence at 608 Island Dr brought $40 million, the highest price reported in the metro area for the week. Built in 2019 and offered completely furnished by designer Scott Snyder, the house carries a reported 5,912 square feet and previously changed hands for $15,480,428 in 2019.
