A gated contemporary estate on just over an acre in Los Altos Hills changed hands for $10.8 million, the highest-priced residential sale publicly reported in the San Jose, California metro area for the week ending August 16, 2026. The week’s five highest-priced reported sales came to $40.11 million combined.

The five sales span Los Altos Hills, Palo Alto, Los Altos and Saratoga, with Palo Alto represented twice. Their build years reach from 1930 to 2015, and pools, putting greens, guest quarters and gated grounds turn up across the group.
