El Dorado Foothills, California Top 5 Home Sales: All Five in El Dorado Hills, Led by a $1.8 Million Contemporary

These are the highest-priced home sales reported in El Dorado Foothills, California for the week ending November 1, 2026, and together the five sold for $7.92 million. The list takes in homes in the gated communities of Francisco Oaks and Villa Doro as well as other parts of El Dorado Hills.

Among them are homes with in-ground pools, fire pits and views of Folsom Lake, and much of what sets them apart is outside, in the yards, the courts and the settings, as much as in the rooms.

No. 1 — $1,800,000 · 1194 Shetland Way, El Dorado Hills, California

Top home sale No. 1 in El Dorado Foothills, California β€” 1194 Shetland Way, El Dorado Hills, California, week ending November 1, 2026

The top sale of the week went to a contemporary home on Shetland Way that closed at $1,800,000. Built in 1987, it is the oldest of the five, and its 1.05-acre corner lot is the largest. The listing places it in Highland Hills and describes the lot as flat, which leaves plenty of room for the life outdoors.

That outdoor life centers on an in-ground gunite pool with an automatic cover, a fire pit and a pergola, with mature plantings around the yard providing privacy. Inside, the home has been updated with wide-plank European hardwood floors and walls finished with a deliberately imperfect texture, and French doors open the rooms to the yard. The kitchen has custom white cabinetry, a large quartzite island, leathered granite counters, a farmhouse sink and a custom bar for entertaining.

The home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,803 square feet, with three fireplaces. Its garage is the biggest of the group, with space for five cars, epoxy floors and a custom storage room above it, and the property has room for RV parking. The property last sold for $1.65 million in 2024.

Kendra Tate and Tricia Rossi, both of Nick Sadek Sotheby’s International Realty, were the listing agents, and Mark Cadwallader of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.
