These were the five highest-priced home sales reported across the Greater Tuscaloosa Area, Alabama for the week ending October 25, 2026, and together they came to $7.17 million. Three of the homes are in Tuscaloosa and two are in Northport, all of them in Tuscaloosa County.
The group leans new. Two of the homes were completed in 2026, and the oldest of the five dates only to 2006. Alongside four single-family homes, the list includes one townhouse, and Keller Williams Tuscaloosa had a listing agent on three of the five sales.
No. 1 — $2,000,000 · 11231 Sexton Bend Rd, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

The top sale of the week is a two-story estate on 28 acres of wooded land with private access to Lake Tuscaloosa and views over the water. Much of the character comes from its materials. Beams of reclaimed Douglas fir, described as about 150 years old, run overhead, the floors are oak, and the kitchen cabinetry is custom cypress. That kitchen has an island, Wolf appliances and two dishwashers, and there is a separate formal dining room as well as a breakfast area.
The primary suite is on the main level, with a stone walk-in shower and two vanities. Each of the three bedrooms upstairs has its own bath and walk-in closet, and the upper floor also has a bonus room and a balcony. Elsewhere the home includes a study, a home theater, recreation rooms, a storm room and a partial basement. There are several fireplaces, some wood-burning and some gas. Outside are two screened porches, a covered patio, a workshop and two separate two-car garages.
The property last sold for $350,000 in 2001, before the current home was built.
