Augusta Area, Georgia Top 5 Home Sales: A Ravenel Home Leads, From a 1921 Summerville Home to New Construction in Grovetown

Augusta Area, Georgia Top 5 Home Sales: A Ravenel Home Leads, From a 1921 Summerville Home to New Construction in Grovetown

The highest-priced home sales reported in Augusta Area, Georgia for the week ending October 25, 2026, added up to $3.299 million. Three of the five homes are in Augusta, one is in Evans and one is in Grovetown, and every one of them is a single-family home.

The group spans more than a century of building. The oldest home dates to 1921 and the newest was finished this year, with homes from the late 1970s, the early 1980s and 2015 in between. Several were laid out with a second suite for guests or extended family, a theme that runs from the top of the list to the bottom.

No. 1 — $870,000 · 3307 Somerset Place, Augusta, Georgia

Top home sale No. 1 in Augusta Area, Georgia β€” 3307 Somerset Place, Augusta, Georgia, week ending October 25, 2026

The top sale of the week is a brick home on a cul-de-sac in Ravenel, the West Augusta neighborhood, which sold for $870,000. Built in 1981, it has four bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath, and 4,291 square feet of living space on a wooded, landscaped lot of 0.46 acres.

Much of the home’s appeal is in how it is arranged. On the main level, a self-contained suite has a bedroom with its own bath, a full second kitchen, a living room and a separate laundry area, so it can work as the owner’s quarters or as a home for a parent or long-term guest. The main kitchen sits at the center of the plan and opens to a breakfast area, the formal dining room and the family room. A sunroom looks out over the backyard and leads to a large brick patio, and another main-level room can serve as an office, library or den.

Upstairs, each of the three bedrooms has an updated bath of its own. A finished third level adds space for a playroom, a media room or a gym. Hardwood and tile floors run through the home, and the living space has a gas-log fireplace. The street is a short drive from the city’s medical district, downtown and Fort Gordon.

Robert M Bentley of Southeastern Residential, LLC and Edwin Douglass of Blanchard & Calhoun – WA were the listing agents. Southeastern Residential, LLC also listed the No. 3 sale this week, giving the firm two of the five.

No. 2 — $665,000 · 1119 Milledge Road, Augusta, Georgia

Top home sale No. 2 in Augusta Area, Georgia β€” 1119 Milledge Road, Augusta, Georgia, week ending October 25, 2026

In Summerville, one of Augusta’s historic neighborhoods, a stucco home built in 1921 sold for $665,000 at 1119 Milledge Road. It is the oldest home in this Top 5 and, at 6,876 square feet, the largest. It also has the fewest bedrooms of the five, three, each with its own bath, along with a half bath for five baths in all.

The home has the character its age suggests: five fireplaces, hardwood floors and stained glass set into the home in an unusual way. A cottage on the grounds adds flexible space that could serve as a fourth bedroom. The corner lot covers 0.42 acres, with a covered front porch, a patio and a fenced back yard behind an automatic gate. A workshop, a separate outbuilding and garage space for four cars, the most in this group, round out the property.

The setting is part of the story. A fenced neighborhood park is within walking distance, local shops are close enough to reach by bicycle, the Medical District and both VA hospitals are about five minutes away, and the Augusta National, home of the Masters, is about ten minutes off. The property last sold for $415,000 in 2002.

The home went under contract four days after it was listed. Mary Bryans of Meybohm Real Estate – Wheeler was the listing agent, and Ann Marie McManus, also of Meybohm Real Estate – Wheeler, represented the buyer.

No. 3 — $635,000 · 9055 Winterton Street, Evans, Georgia

Top home sale No. 3 in Augusta Area, Georgia β€” 9055 Winterton Street, Evans, Georgia, week ending October 25, 2026

Set on 0.54 acres in Riverwood Plantation in Evans, the largest lot in this Top 5, the home at 9055 Winterton Street sold for $635,000. Built in 2015 with a stone exterior, it has five bedrooms, the most of the group, along with four full baths and a half bath in 4,288 square feet. The lot is wooded and secluded, with covered front and rear porches and a patio.

A large foyer opens into the home. The main level has a formal dining room and a kitchen with a gas stove, and its pine floors have recently been refinished. The primary suite is upstairs with three more bedrooms, all with new carpet. Down in the walk-out basement are a media room, a bonus room and a fifth bedroom with a full bath, which could also become guest quarters or an office suite.

The backyard has plenty of room for a pool or a pool house, and it is already plumbed with water and gas for an outdoor kitchen. Riverwood Plantation has a clubhouse, a pool, a golf course, parks, a playground and trails, and the home is in the Greenbrier school district. The property last sold for $417,000 in 2015.
