Top home sale No. 1 in Lincoln Metro Area, Nebraska β€” 8201 Dorset Dr, Lincoln, Nebraska, week ending October 25, 2026

The week’s top sale was a two-story traditional home in Lancashire that sold for $950,000. Five of the bedrooms are on the second floor, the primary suite among them. The sixth is in the finished walkout basement, which takes in daylight and also has a gym and a bar. The home has two fireplaces, a Jack and Jill bath and a whirlpool.

The yard has landscaping and lighting, and there is a patio as well as a deck and a covered deck. The property last sold for $850,000 in 2023.

The home went under contract 15 days after it was listed by Jenna Ferris and Susan Ferris of REMAX Concepts. Darlene Starman of Woods Bros Realty represented the buyer in the week’s highest-priced sale.

No. 3 — $695,000 · 1479 Yankee Hill Rd, Denton, Nebraska

Top home sale No. 3 in Lincoln Metro Area, Nebraska β€” 1479 Yankee Hill Rd, Denton, Nebraska, week ending October 25, 2026

Ten wooded, secluded acres come with the ranch home at 1479 Yankee Hill Road in Denton, the largest lot of the five and the only sale this week in Seward County. The property sits on a private roadway, and a half mile of gravel road leads to the highway, from which Lincoln, Crete and Seward are minutes away. Horses are permitted.

The land is set up for work as well as quiet. A pole shed measuring 80 by 50 feet has electrical service and a 16-by-80-foot lean-to, and there is an electrical hookup for an RV beside the shed. The listing says wild turkeys are known to turn up every day.

Built in 2003, the home has 1,700 square feet of living space, two bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus two bonus rooms that could serve as an office or a nursery. Wood ceilings run overhead, and a gas log fireplace warms the living space. The primary bath has dozens of drawers. A covered deck and a composite deck sit outside, and the oversized attached garage fits two cars. The full walkout basement is unfinished, left for the next owner to finish.

The home went under contract 29 days after it was listed and sold for $695,000, $100,000 above its $595,000 asking price. Bill Budler of BancWise Realty was the listing agent and also represented the buyer, so the same agent was on both sides of the sale.
