Dayton, Ohio Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: A 1927 Colonial in Dayton Leads at $860,000

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Dayton metro area for the week ending October 11, 2026, totaled $3.89 million. Two of the homes are in Dayton, and there was one sale each in Beavercreek, Vandalia and Bellbrook. Three of the five are in Greene County and two in Montgomery County.

All five are single-family homes, and they cover a lot of ground: an older home in the city, a home that looks onto a golf course, the only newly built home of the group, and two properties with several acres of land. In two of the sales, the same agent was on both sides.

No. 1 — $860,000 · 25 W Thruston Blvd, Dayton, Ohio

Top home sale No. 1 in the Dayton metro area β€” 25 W Thruston Blvd, Dayton, Ohio, week ending October 11, 2026

The week’s top sale was an Italianate-style colonial in the Fox Trace neighborhood of Dayton, built in 1927, which sold for $860,000. The stucco home sits on 0.77 acres, and it shows its character before anyone goes inside: a porch with curved arches and wood beams, and a rounded front door.

In the foyer, a curved staircase rises beneath a classic chandelier. The living room next to it has high ceilings, original wood floors and a fireplace, one of two in the home. A sunroom has a green tiled fountain that is original to the home, and French doors and large windows bring light into the rooms. The eat-in kitchen has been updated with double ovens and stainless steel appliances. Upstairs, the primary suite has wood beams, a renovated full bathroom and a sitting room with a double entry.

With five bedrooms and 5,345 square feet over three stories, the home had the most bedrooms and the largest living area of the five. It has three full and two half baths, a finished basement with a walk-out, and an attached two-car garage. The property last sold for $837,500 in 2022.

Eric Weimer of Glasshouse Realty Group was the listing agent for the week’s top sale, and Todd Hackett of Irongate Inc. represented the buyer.
