The group spanned seven decades of building, from a home that dates to 1955 to two new-construction homes, one finished in 2025 and the other in 2026.

Top home sale No. 1 in the Richmond metro area β€” 5106 Harlan Cir, Richmond, Virginia, week ending October 11, 2026

The oldest home on the list brought the highest price. The brick and slate Cape Cod at 5106 Harlan Circle in Hampton Gardens was built in 1955, and it sold for $2,000,000.

Most of the rooms are on the main floor. Its eat-in kitchen pairs white cabinetry with soapstone counters, and a family room and a den or office sit alongside formal living and dining rooms reached from the entrance foyer. The primary suite is on this level too, with its own bath and plenty of closet space, as is a second bedroom near a hall bath. Upstairs, two more bedrooms share a renovated bath. In all, the home has four bedrooms, three full baths and a half bath, and 4,178 square feet, with high ceilings, built-in bookcases, a bay window and a gas fireplace.

The grounds cover 0.45 acres. A bluestone patio anchors the private rear yard, and a circular drive leads to the two-car garage. The property last sold for $682,000 in 2001.
