The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Flint, Michigan metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, totaled $2.84 million, with prices running from $487,600 to $700,000. All five are single-family homes in Genesee County, spread across Goodrich, Davison, Linden and Grand Blanc.

Davison accounted for two of the five, which together sold for $1,153,000. The group ranges from a 1969 ranch to a home built in 2026, the only new construction on the list, and from a lot of about a third of an acre to one of 15 acres.

Top home sale No. 1 in the Flint, Michigan metro area β€” 10394 Hills Lane Dr, Goodrich, Michigan, week ending October 4, 2026

The week’s top sale is a waterfront home on Lake Shinanguag in Goodrich, which sold for $700,000. Built in 2001 on a deep lot of 0.98 acres, the property sits on an all-sports lake, with canal frontage and association access. The exterior is brick and vinyl siding.

The main level has an open floor plan with an eat-in kitchen and a pantry, and it gives easy access to a 40-by-14-foot deck and a gazebo. Inside, there are vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and two fireplaces, one in the great room and one in the basement. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a full bath, a 16-by-11-foot space for sitting or music, and a long walk-in storage area above the garage.

The finished lower level walks out to the lake. Its 21-by-22-foot main room is warmed by a gas fireplace, and the level also has a wet bar, built-in wine storage, a full bath and an 11-by-15-foot office or den. No. 2 — $585,000 · 4489 N Oak Rd, Davison, Michigan

Top home sale No. 2 in the Flint, Michigan metro area β€” 4489 N Oak Rd, Davison, Michigan, week ending October 4, 2026

A gate and a drive about an eighth of a mile long lead into this Davison property in Richfield Township, where 15 level acres make it the largest lot of the week’s five sales. The land includes two pastures with water, apple trees, raised gardens and a stretch of woods, with roughly 10 tillable acres among them.

Two outbuildings stand on the property. One is a 36-by-54-foot pole barn with power, a concrete floor and 10-foot doors; the other is a 30-by-40-foot second garage with its own pad and 110- and 220-volt service. The attached garage has a workshop, and the property’s garage capacity of 5.5 spaces is the most among the five.

The contemporary home was built in 1990 and has four bedrooms, four bathrooms (three full and one half) and 3,200 square feet. A 23-foot covered porch runs across the front, and a deck sits out back. Oversized windows bring in light throughout. The kitchen has an island, a breakfast bar, granite counters and stainless steel appliances, and it opens to a living room with a wood-burning fireplace. The primary suite is on the first floor and has three closets, the laundry is on the same floor, and the basement is partially finished.

The property last sold for $425,000 in 2021. This time it went under contract four days after it was listed and sold for $585,000, which was $26,000 above its $559,000 asking price. No. 3 — $568,000 · 8451 Woodridge Dr, Davison, Michigan

Top home sale No. 3 in the Flint, Michigan metro area β€” 8451 Woodridge Dr, Davison, Michigan, week ending October 4, 2026

The newest home of the five is a single-story ranch built in 2026 on a creek-front lot of 0.44 acres in the Copper Ridge Golf Community in Davison. It sold for $568,000, which was $119,000 above its asking price of $449,000. The property last sold for $36,500 in 2025, before the current home was built.

The listing was written before construction began, and the plans it describes call for vaulted ceilings rising from the foyer into the main living area, where a stone fireplace anchors the great room and an oversized doorwall looks out to the creek. The kitchen is planned with a large island, granite counters and a walk-in pantry more than 10 feet long. Craftsman-style doors and trim run through the home, and the mudroom has a built-in drop zone.

The layout splits the bedrooms, with the primary suite on one side overlooking the backyard and the other two bedrooms on the opposite side. The primary bath is planned with a dual vanity, a fully tiled shower with a hidden niche and a custom walk-in closet. The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,900 square feet, along with a stone and vinyl exterior, a covered porch and an attached three-car garage. Below is an unfinished daylight basement with 9-foot ceilings and plumbing stubbed for a bath.

Todd Fedie of KW Realty Livingston was on both sides of the sale, as the listing agent and as the agent who represented the buyer.

No. 4 — $500,000 · 16427 Hi Land Trl, Linden, Michigan

Top home sale No. 4 in the Flint, Michigan metro area β€” 16427 Hi Land Trl, Linden, Michigan, week ending October 4, 2026

The Linden sale is about the water. The home in South Silver Lake Hi-Lands, in Fenton Township, has 107 feet of frontage on Marl Lake, a spring-fed lake of about 75 acres that reaches roughly 36 feet deep. Marl Lake connects with Silver Lake, which covers about 310 acres and runs to about 64 feet deep, and both are all-sports lakes with bass and northern pike. The property has a dock, a patio and a broad, sloping yard on just over half an acre.

The brick and vinyl ranch was built in 1969, the oldest home of the five, and at 1,569 square feet it is also the smallest. Large windows on the lake side face the water. The living room is the main event, with a fireplace set in a wall-to-wall brick surround and windows looking out over Marl Lake, and the eat-in kitchen has lake views of its own. The home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, first-floor laundry and mostly solid-wood interior doors, along with a full unfinished basement and a heated two-car attached garage. The listing is candid that the finishes are dated.

The home went under contract four days after it was listed and sold for $500,000, which was $30,100 above its asking price of $469,900. Robert E Keely and Pat M Oakes of REMAX Platinum Grand Blanc were the listing agents, and Caleb July of The Sedlarik Group Realty LLC represented the buyer.

Top home sale No. 5 in the Flint, Michigan metro area β€” 6211 Kings Scepter Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan, week ending October 4, 2026

With 3,936 square feet, this traditional two-story home in Grand Blanc has the most living space of the five, on the smallest lot of the group at 0.36 acres. Built in 1974 with brick and aluminum siding, it has been extensively remodeled inside.

The kitchen was redone with granite counters, hickory hardwood floors, Venetian plaster walls and new stainless steel appliances, and it opens to a family room with a wood-burning fireplace. A separate living room and dining room sit apart from that open space, and the dining room can serve as a home office. The bathrooms were remodeled as well. The primary bath has a tub, a shower, double sinks and Venetian plaster; a second upstairs bath has double sinks and a separate tub and shower; and the main-floor bath has a vintage vanity and a copper sink.

The finished basement is done in a lodge theme, with room for a pool table, a bar, television and a workout room. Outside, a covered porch and a large deck look over a landscaped backyard. The home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms (two full and one half), first-floor laundry and an attached two-car garage. The property last sold for $210,000 in 1998, 28 years ago.

The home sold for $487,600, which was $17,600 above its asking price of $470,000. Debbie Caldwell and Zachary Caldwell of American Associates Inc were the listing agents, and Sharquita White of Howard Homes 4 You LLC represented the buyer.
