Equity Union Expands Into Nevada, Its First Market Outside California

Equity Union Real Estate has opened its first office outside California, launching operations in Southern Nevada, the independent brokerage announced on July 24.

The Las Vegas-based launch marks the company’s first market outside its home state and, according to the announcement, the start of a broader national expansion. Equity Union said it has grown 239% over the past five years.

Who is leading the Nevada operation

The brokerage named Jason Lindstrom as Regional Director overseeing Southern Nevada and the Coachella Valley. Lindstrom, a U.S. Army veteran, has more than 26 years of industry experience and has held leadership roles across Utah, Colorado, California, Nevada and Virginia, the company said.

“Equity Union has created something rare in this industry Ò€” a brokerage that genuinely prioritizes people, culture, innovation, and agent success,” Lindstrom said in the announcement. “Southern Nevada continues to experience tremendous growth and opportunity, and we’re building a platform designed to help agents elevate their businesses.”

Melissa Dominguez-Martin was named Managing and Compliance Broker for the Nevada operation. She has more than 24 years of experience, specializing in REO, HUD and short-sale transactions before founding the Dominguez-Martin Group, according to the company.

Why Nevada

Equity Union CEO Harma Hartouni framed the move as part of a deliberate growth strategy. “Southern Nevada is a dynamic and rapidly evolving market, and Jason Lindstrom is exactly the kind of proven leader we want representing the Equity Union brand as we continue expanding nationally,” Hartouni said.

What it means

Verified facts: Equity Union has opened its first office outside California, in Southern Nevada, and has appointed regional leadership there. The company states it has grown 239% over five years and describes further national expansion as part of its strategy.

Analysis: an independent brokerage crossing state lines for the first time is a signal of national ambition, but the announcement does not disclose agent headcount, office locations, or revenue targets for the new market. Whether the Nevada launch becomes a template for expansion into additional states will depend on results the company has not yet reported.
