The five highest-priced home sales reported in Hawaii Island, Hawaii for the week ending November 1, 2026 came to a combined $11.331 million. Three of the sales were in Kamuela and two were in Kailua Kona, all of them in Hawaii County.
The group includes three single-family homes and two condominiums, and it spans nearly four decades of building, from 1986 to 2025. One of the five is new construction, and in one sale the same agent was on both sides.
No. 1 — $3,800,000 · 72-2905 Hainoa St #12, Kailua Kona, Hawaii

The week’s top sale came from inside Hualalai Resort, the gated resort community north of Kailua Kona that is also home to the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. The home at 72-2905 Hainoa Street #12 sold for $3,800,000 after going under contract two days after it was listed.
The listing describes it as an upper-level corner villa near the top of the resort, a position that brings trade winds and wide views. Those views take in the ocean and coastline, the golf course, the mountains and the sunrise. Inside, an open living plan is lined with large windows and pocketing doors that open the rooms to two lanais, one of them with a gas grill. The villa came fully furnished with pieces by Henderson Design Group, along with a one-car garage and a golf cart.
The home was built in 2007 and has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,778 square feet. No. 2 — $2,350,000 · 59-1140 Kalama Way, Kamuela, Hawaii

The newest home in this week’s group sits at about 2,000 feet on the slopes above the Kohala Coast. The single-story home at 59-1140 Kalama Way in Kohala Ranch was built in 2025 and sold for $2,350,000.
It stands on 5.81 acres of grassy, landscaped land on a cul-de-sac in the Meadows II neighborhood of Kohala Ranch, a gated community of nearly 4,000 acres that climbs from 120 feet to 3,000 feet above sea level. At Mauna Lani Resort, an oceanfront condominium at 68-1050 Mauna Lani Point Drive #D101 sold for $2,080,000. Built in 1986, it is the oldest home among the five and, at 1,573 square feet, the smallest.
