A 2019 custom home set on 2.2 wooded acres in Ada’s gated Montreux Hills community sold for $1.94 million, the highest-priced home sale publicly reported in the Grand Rapids, Michigan metro area for the week ending August 9, 2026. The five leading closings reported across the metro that week combined for $8.23 million in West Michigan real estate.

The sales span Montreux Hills, Beard Farm and Revado Hills, with the two remaining closings recorded in Holland and Lowell. Ada produced both the No. 1 and No. 3 transactions, each a custom house built by KLH Custom Homes, and build years across the group run from 1987 to 2023.
