No. 1 — $3,600,000 · 37353-37344 Silver Peak Rd, Crosslake, Minnesota

Top home sale No. 1 in Brainerd Lakes & Leech Lake Area, Minnesota β€” 37353-37344 Silver Peak Rd, Crosslake, Minnesota, week ending October 25, 2026

The top sale of the week is really two lake properties in one. Sold for $3,600,000, the Crosslake property is made up of two parcels on the Whitefish Chain, each with its own dock. There are about 140 feet of gradual sand frontage on Lower Whitefish Lake and more frontage on the channel to Rush Lake. The walk down to the water has no steps, and the main home looks west across the lake toward the evening sun.

The main home was built in 2019 and planned around the lake. It is a single-story home with six bedrooms, five bathrooms and 5,875 square feet. Exposed wood beams cross the vaulted great room, which has a stone gas fireplace and opens to the kitchen and dining area, so the lake stays in view through the middle of the home. A wide deck runs along the lake side. The primary suite is on the main floor, with a fireplace of its own and a door straight out to the deck. Off the living area, a four-season porch with a wet bar leads directly into a screened porch, and the two work as one large gathering room. Floors are heated throughout, and the home also has a walk-in pantry and a large laundry and craft room.

The guest house stands on a parcel of its own, with its own frontage on the Rush Lake channel and its own private dock. It has three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, a living room and a family room, along with a lakeside deck where a bridge leads toward the water. Both garages are heated, and the irrigated, landscaped grounds include a fire pit near the shore. Crosslake is a few minutes away by car, and by water the property connects to the rest of the Whitefish Chain. The property last sold for $3.25 million in 2023.

The home went under contract 26 days after it was listed and sold at its full asking price. Robert Birkeland of Keller Williams Realty Professionals/Larson Group Real Estate was the listing agent, and Madeline Nelson, of the same brokerage, represented the buyer.

No. 2 — $3,000,000 · 8882 Interlachen Rd, Nisswa, Minnesota

Top home sale No. 2 in Brainerd Lakes & Leech Lake Area, Minnesota β€” 8882 Interlachen Rd, Nisswa, Minnesota, week ending October 25, 2026

Before this Gull Lake property in the Shore Acres neighborhood of Nisswa was a private home, it was the site of the Inwood Lodge Resort, and the old resort’s gazebo still stands at the edge of the water. The property sold for $3,000,000. Its 1.60 acres include 202 feet of shoreline, a level lot with a gentle approach to the lake, a sand lake bottom and rip-rap along the shore. A vintage merry-go-round and a telephone booth also come with the property.

The home was built in 1985 and has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 3,918 square feet. The great room is the center of it, with a vaulted ceiling of ash tongue-and-groove, a wall of windows on the lake side and a wood-burning fireplace of true masonry stone, while a loft looks out over the room and the lake. The large open kitchen has hardwood floors, a breakfast bar and a wet bar. The primary bedroom faces the lake, with a vaulted ceiling, a walk-in closet and patio doors to a big deck, and a home office sits under a beamed, vaulted ceiling. Downstairs, the walkout family room has a split-stone wood-burning fireplace, a granite wet bar and vertical oak tongue-and-groove walls, and it opens to a paver patio with a fire pit. The lower level also has a wine cellar.

With seven garage spaces, the most of the five sales, the property has a finished, heated three-car garage and a second finished, heated garage for four cars. John Nolan of Kurilla Real Estate LTD and Marjorie Nolan were the listing agents, and Sarah E Polovitz of Compass represented the buyer.

No. 3 — $1,900,000 · 6780 Silver Springs Ln, Walker, Minnesota

Top home sale No. 3 in Brainerd Lakes & Leech Lake Area, Minnesota β€” 6780 Silver Springs Ln, Walker, Minnesota, week ending October 25, 2026

A developer built this Walker home on Kabekona Bay of Leech Lake in 2005 as a personal retirement home. It sold for $1,900,000. The home sits on 0.76 acres with 138 feet of shoreline edged with natural vegetation and a sand lake bottom.

The single-story home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 5,327 square feet, with a full walkout basement. On the entry level, solid ash floors run throughout and the custom cabinetry is solid maple. That floor has a bright sunroom, a formal dining area and an upper deck for casual meals, along with a living room that has a natural slate fireplace and a raised view of the water. The primary suite is on this level too, as is a guest room or office that has its own bath. The lake level is built for company: a Chilton stone fireplace stands beside a custom maple TV cabinet, there is a full granite wet bar, and a three-season porch has a fireplace of its own. Artisan tile appears in the bathrooms and in the lake-level entertaining space, and a lower patio has a fire pit.

Professionally planted gardens wrap around the home and line a paved walkway to a Jacuzzi spa. A sound system is wired in for listening indoors and out. The heated four-stall garage is finished, with 1,632 square feet, an epoxy floor and a built-in workbench, and 672 square feet of Shore Station dock come with the home.

The home went under contract four days after it was listed and sold for $110,000 above its asking price of $1.79 million. Susan Ostlund of Cedar Point Realty was the listing agent, and Bill Hansen of Bill Hansen Realty/Longville represented the buyer.
