Top home sale No. 1 in Boston North Suburbs, Massachusetts β€” 4 Wren Cir, North Reading, Massachusetts, week ending November 1, 2026

The top sale of the week was a brick Colonial on a cul-de-sac in Ridgeway Estates in North Reading, where 4 Wren Circle sold for $3,725,000. Built in 1998, it sits on 10.60 acres of wooded, gently sloping land with a stream, the largest lot of the five. It is also the largest home of the group, with 11,297 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, eight baths and an oversized four-car garage with a workshop.

The home is really two residences in one. An addition from 2004 forms a self-contained wing with its own kitchen, living room and dining area, along with a primary bedroom that has a walk-in closet, a generous bath and a private balcony, suited to in-law or guest living. In the main home, a two-story foyer leads into living and dining rooms finished with custom millwork and hand-painted details, and the kitchen is built around a nine-foot island. The main family room has a stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows and skylights. On the second level, the primary suite has two walk-in closets, a spa bath and a balcony, and a second family room has a gas fireplace. Home offices, an exercise room and a craft room round out the interior, and radiant heated floors run through both parts of the home.

Outside there is a heated in-ground pool, and the cabana has its own half bath. A stone patio and a fire pit give the grounds places to gather, and the yard is fenced and professionally landscaped. The property last sold for $750,000 in 1998.
