No. 1 — $1,145,000 · 6272 Grosbeak Ct, Nineveh, Indiana

Top home sale No. 1 in Bloomington & Brown County Area, Indiana β€” 6272 Grosbeak Ct, Nineveh, Indiana, week ending November 1, 2026

The home at 6272 Grosbeak Court in Nineveh has 120 feet of frontage on Sweetwater Lake, and it gets two kinds of water from it. From the home and its deck, the view runs out over the open main body of the lake. Down at the shore, the dock sits in a sheltered cove where swimming is easy, behind a seawall.

Getting to the water takes only the steps from the deck down to the dock, with no long climb down a hillside. Below the deck are a covered boat lift and a second boat slip, along with a storage barn by the lake for paddleboards, tubes and life jackets.

Built in 1981, the two-story home has been thoroughly renovated, with new flooring inside and composite decking outside. It has two bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,528 square feet on a 0.32-acre lot, and the interior has vaulted and cathedral ceilings. Beyond the main living area there is a second living room, plus flex rooms that can work as an office, a bunk room or a game room. The finished basement walks out directly to the cove, so swimmers can come and go without crossing the main floor. The property last sold for $447,200 in 2016.

Jamie Johann of Keller Williams Indy Metro Partners was the listing agent, and the home went under contract one day after it was listed. Jason Gatewood of Sweetwater Realty LLC represented the buyer in the top sale of the week, which closed at $1,145,000.
