Both Arden closings came out of the same gated golf community, and the group spans build years from 1915 to 2022, pairing a converted top-floor residence downtown with newer houses in the surrounding mountain communities.
No. 1 — $4,850,000 · 558 Walnut Valley Pkwy, Arden, North Carolina
A contemporary house built in 2019 on a golf-course lot in The Cliffs at Walnut Cove changed hands for $4,850,000 in a transaction recorded August 4, 2026. It has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and a reported 5,350 square feet.
The lot was chosen for its position on the golf course, its mountain views and its morning sun, and its siting opens views in several directions across the course and the club village.
