Phoenix, Arizona Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Scottsdale Takes Four of Five, Led by a $7.50 Million Camelback East Remodel

Scottsdale accounted for four of this week’s five highest-priced home sales reported across the Phoenix, Arizona metro area for the week ending September 6, 2026, with Paradise Valley holding the fifth. At the top was a 2018-built house on East Montecito Avenue, remodeled in the classic Arcadia style, that sold for $7.50 million on September 2.

The five sales combined for $28.80 million and span Camelback East, Paradise Valley Estates, Mirabel Club, White Horse and Carefree Ranch Homesteads β€” a stretch of the metro that runs from an in-town remodel to a renovated golf-course residence and a 24.5-acre guard-gated mountaintop estate.

No. 1 — $7,500,000 · 6235 E Montecito Avenue, Scottsdale, Arizona

Top home sale No. 1 in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area β€” 6235 E Montecito Avenue, Scottsdale, Arizona, week ending September 6, 2026

A five-bedroom home at 6235 E. Montecito Avenue in Scottsdale closed on September 2, 2026, for $7.50 million, ranking No. 1 in RealtyWire’s Phoenix Metro Area Top 5 for the week. Built in 2018 with six baths and a reported 6,149 square feet, the property previously changed hands for $7,200,000 in 2023.

The house was fully remodeled to blend classic Arcadia styling with modern touches. A chef’s kitchen is backed by a second prep kitchen, the great room anchors the main entertaining space, and floor-to-ceiling millwork, custom cabinetry, dramatic lighting, retractable doors and stone and tile work carry through the interior. A guest house with its own separate garage stands apart from the main residence.

Outside, a mature ficus hedge encloses the grounds for privacy, and the outdoor living areas look onto Camelback Mountain. The $7.50 million closing put Christopher V Karas of Compass on the listing side of the metro’s highest-priced reported sale of the week.

Top home sale No. 2 in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area β€” 6900 N Mummy Mountain Road, Paradise Valley, Arizona, week ending September 6, 2026
