The five highest-priced home sales reported in Northern Shenandoah Valley, Virginia for the week ending November 1, 2026 came to a combined $3.78 million. The sales were spread across Winchester, Basye, Rileyville and Front Royal, and each one fell in a different county or city: Frederick, Shenandoah, Page and Warren counties and the city of Winchester.
All five are single-family homes, and they ranged widely in setting, from more than 10 wooded acres in Page County to a city lot within walking distance of downtown Winchester. One was new construction. Winchester accounted for two of the five, which sold for a combined $1,640,000.
No. 1 — $970,000 · 632 Stonymeade Dr, Winchester, Virginia

The week’s top sale is a custom one-level home in Stonymeade, built in 2015 by Joe Mohr and set on 3.20 acres of mature trees and open lawn, with woods around the edges of the property. Old Town Winchester is about 10 minutes away.
At 3,870 square feet, it is the largest of the five homes, and its five bedrooms are also the most of the group. Three bedrooms are on the main level. The primary suite there has a 19-by-17-foot bedroom, a large walk-in closet and a bath with two vanities and an oversized walk-in shower. The home has three full baths and a half bath in all, and a three-car attached garage fitted with built-in cabinetry.
The kitchen is built around a large center island, with Thermador appliances that include a gas cooktop and double wall ovens, Sub-Zero refrigeration, a wine cooler and a walk-in pantry. Next to it, the family room has a gas fireplace between custom built-ins and a wide plate-glass window looking out to the backyard. Hardwood floors and plantation shutters run through the main rooms.
The walkout lower level adds two more bedrooms, a full bath and a large living area with a wet bar. Its most unusual room is a brick-and-wood wine cellar with space for about 1,000 bottles and its own tasting area. Outside, a deck off the main level has a built-in gas grill, and the lower level opens to a patio, part covered and part open, with a built-in fire pit. The property last sold for $750,479 in 2015.
