These were the highest-priced home sales reported in the Greater Danbury Area, Connecticut for the week ending November 1, 2026, and together they came to $8.15 million. Ridgefield dominated the week with four of the five, spread from the Village Center to South Ridgefield and Lake West, while the fifth was in the Ball Pond area of New Fairfield.
All five are single-family homes with at least four bedrooms, and they span nearly a century of building, from a Cape Cod dating to 1930 to a Colonial-style farmhouse finished in 2021. Several had been substantially renovated. Coldwell Banker Realty was the listing brokerage on three of the sales, and in two of them the same agent was on both sides.
No. 1 — $2,400,000 · 2 Black Pine Ridge, Ridgefield, Connecticut

The newest home in this group is a modern farmhouse built in 2021 on a three-acre landscaped lot on a cul-de-sac in Lake West. It sold for $2,400,000, which was $405,000 above its asking price of $1.995 million. The property last sold for $1.18 million in 2021.
Behind a double front door, the living room rises to a 19-foot ceiling, with a marble-surround fireplace, floating shelves and custom built-ins, and a Hubbardton Forge chandelier overhead. Wide-plank white oak floors run through the home. The kitchen is open and has room to eat in, with mitered marble countertops, JennAir appliances, a farmhouse sink and a large island. A butler’s pantry with a wet bar and wine cooler and a custom mudroom lead to the attached three-car garage.
The main level also has an office behind glass doors and a guest suite whose bath has marble floors and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, an open hallway looks down into the living room. The primary bath has radiant heat under its marble floors, a double vanity, an oversized walk-in shower and a soaking tub with a view of the fenced backyard. In all, the home has four bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath in 3,305 square feet, plus a full unfinished basement.
Much of the outdoor living happens on a bluestone patio of about 1,800 square feet, which has a built-in outdoor kitchen with a grill and a firepit. Lighting set into the grounds picks out the landscaping at night, and an irrigation system and a whole-house generator are in place.
Tim M. Dent of Coldwell Banker Realty was the listing agent and also represented the buyer, so the same agent was on both sides of the sale. It was one of two sales in this Top 5 for Dent, who handled both sides of the third-ranked sale on New Street as well.
