Redding Metro Area, California Top 5 Home Sales: Anderson Home on 40 Acres Leads at $1 Million

Single-story homes on land, from just over an acre to 40 acres, made up the week's top sales, with workshops and room for RVs turning up again and again.

Redding Metro Area, California Top 5 Home Sales: Anderson Home on 40 Acres Leads at $1 Million

These are the highest-priced home sales reported in the Redding Metro Area, California for the week ending October 25, 2026, and together the five sold for $4.079 million. All five are in Shasta County: two in Anderson, two in Redding and one in Palo Cedro. Every one of them is a single-story home, and all were built between 1990 and 2002.

No. 1 — $1,000,000 · 4905 Parkville Rd, Anderson, California

Top home sale No. 1 in Redding Metro Area, California β€” 4905 Parkville Rd, Anderson, California, week ending October 25, 2026

The week’s top sale was also its largest piece of land. The property at 4905 Parkville Road in Anderson sold for $1,000,000 and covers 40 level acres of open pasture, with views across the valley and out to Mount Shasta and Mount Lassen.

There are two homes on the property, and its structures include a guest house. The main home, built in 2000, is a traditional single-story design finished in stone and stucco. It has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, three full and one half, along with a pantry and a breakfast bar.

Much of the appeal is outdoors. A large detached shop comes with its own office and half bath, giving room for equipment, a business or restoration work. Mature shade trees stand over the homesite, and the flat ground around it has space for horses, livestock, gardens or orchards.

Chad M Phillips of Shasta Sotheby’s International Realty was the listing agent. The brokerage had two listings in this week’s Top 5, this sale and the No. 4 sale in Tierra Oaks.
